Migraine in the Media

What an exciting time for the migraine and headache community! I hope many of you saw the CBS Sunday Morning cover special yesterday. CBS Sunday Morning show featured CHAMP's (Coalition for Headache and Migraine Patients) Medical Advisor, Dr. Bill Young, in a cover story focused on migraine. Tune in to also see member organization Miles for Migraine. In case you missed it, try viewing it here.

Plus, this week, Good Morning America will air its series on migraine highlighting a different story each day 2/18-2/20. This Tuesday (2/18), CHAMP member Jaime Sanders will be featured around 8:10 am. Please be sure to tune in! Wednesday, they will be featuring the Pushis family, whose son Robert has migraine.

I hope you are all able to watch this series!

  1. Thank you for advocating for us migraine sufferers. Great interview on GMA. There’s so much stigma attached to this disease. Thank you.

  2. I saw you today on GMA. I have been suffering from migraines since the age of 14 and now I am 49. It has been definitely a struggle. How do I subscribe to your blog?

  3. I've been suffering from migraines since I was in my early 30's. One day I was at work and started my day by cleaning up my and before I ate breakfast. The next thing I know, my head started hurting. My coworker was like maybe I need to eat. While I started eating, began to feel dizzy. Then all of a sudden I woke up in a stretcher. My coworkers told me that I pasted out. I then sat up and began throw up. When I was rushed to the hospital they diagnosed me with migraines. That was the worst experience of my life. Since then I constantly have migraines.

    1. I’m so sorry you had that horrible experience. Migraine is a nasty and extremely debilitating disease. I hope you’ve been able to find something to help in managing the pain and symptoms. Hugs and solidarity. 💜
