Join Me on Capitol Hill! #RAMigraine

Join me this Thursday to attend The Value of Research and Prevention in Addressing The Societal Burden of Migraine Capitol Hill Briefing at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C.!  I will be among three other panelists there to discuss the debilitating impact of Migraine.

Mary Franklin
Executive Director, National Headache Foundation

Walter Koroshetz, M.D.
Director, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)

Brian Gifford, Ph.D.
Director, Research and Measurement, Integrated Benefits Institute

Jaime Sanders
The Migraine Diva, Migraine Patient Advocate

Amaal J. Starling, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Neurology, Mayo Clinic

Congressman Brian Higgins (D-NY), co-chair of the House NIH Caucus will provide brief remarks.

As an advocate for migraine patients, this is an awesome opportunity to shine a light on the desperate need for research and better prevention options, as well as expand on the societal burden of migraine and the impact it has on patients, families, and employers.

If you are in the area and would like to attend, the event is free and lunch will be provided. The briefing will be on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Rayburn House Office Building, Room 2043. Please fill out this form to RSVP!
