The symbol and colors that represent Migraine and Chronic Migraine Awareness give me hope. Sometimes, all it takes is for me to wear one of my bracelets to help me power through. It is a reminder of the strength that it takes to live with this disease and serves as a way to honor those we have lost because of it. This fight is bigger than myself. I need to endure and strive for better health for my family as well. My husband and three children all motivate me to keep pushing. I want to create memories with them and enjoy as much quality time with them as possible. That isn't possible if I spend most days in the bed surrounded by darkness. So, my family unit is a symbol of hope also. That there will be brighter days ahead of me and to never give up on hope of seeing those days. I want to live, breathe and be happy for myself, my family, and for those who have lost the battle to Migraine disease.
