My long history with Migraine and dealing with numerous doctors and specialists has had its share of ups and downs. I have experienced many hopeful and devastating moments over the last 29 years. Most of the information I received from doctors centered around the idea that I am going to have to live with the pain until I go through menopause. When I was at my lowest point and had lost almost all trust of Western medicine, my therapist at the time recommended me to her friend who practices energetic medicine. I reached out to her and our first phone conversation was the beginning of new hope. Dawn gave me a new outlook on treatment and completely understood my stance on leaving medications alone to focus on healing my body and mind naturally. She became my biggest cheerleader and always gave me encouragement. Dawn would always say that I am very strong and brave and she never hesitated to tell me how proud of me she was. Not only did Dawn support me physically, she prayed with and for me and my healing. I truly appreciate everything that she has done for me. It is because of her that I am still able to live with very few medical interventions. I have been able to get my neurologist, psychiatrist, and primary care doctor on board with how I choose to approach my treatments. The knowledge that Dawn has given me has allowed me to move forward on this path in a much easier and more enlightened fashion. Sometimes all it takes is for that one person to take your hand, look you in the eyes, and tell you that they are in this with you. Dawn made me feel safe, cared for and most importantly heard. For that I am eternally grateful. She has made a big impact on my life and health. It isn't very often that you encounter a medical professional that is compassionate, supportive, and caring of their patients. It took me over twenty years to find her but I'm glad I did. Thank you Dawn!
