Learn More About Botox For Chronic Migraine

3 A.M.

I can't sleep.  I have many nights like this where I'm just up.  I'm tired and I want to sleep but something is keeping me awake.  So, since I'm up I decided to make a video talking about why I can't fall asleep and how migraines and chronic headaches have affected my life.

Once you're done watching my video, please take some time to visit the YouTube page of a friend's daughter who has CFS/ME.  She gives a great insight into the life of a young adult with invisible illnesses.

  1. I was jolted awake around 3am by a migraine, and after the most severe sensations passed (This episode was very brief, thank goodness, but I was unable to go back to sleep.) I went online and came across your blog after some information searching.

I am a 30yr old woman and I recently started experiencing migraines. My life is upside down right now and I'm worried about what this might mean for the rest of my life.

Reading through your blog this morning has helped me. Thank you for being out there and sharing your experiences.

  2. Dear N:

I'm sorry that you had to be woken up by migraine pain but I'm grateful that you were able to find some help through this. Having migraine disease for as long as I have hasn't necessarily made it easier but it has made me appreciate the more important things in life. There are many people out there like us who understand what life is like with chronic pain as well as great support groups full of these people. If you're on Facebook, look me up and I can get you in touch with them.

I hope that you were able to get some relief and some much needed sleep.
